ABOUT BARBARA STEELE

I believe in win-win-win: at the end of a project, the customer, the contractor, and I should be happy with the job. People come to a project wanting to do their best work, and part of my job is to help that happen.

Interior design is my second career, but my first passion. I have been working full time at this profession since graduating with a Diploma of Interior Design from Algonquin College in 2004. Having honed my skills working for both interior design and architectural firms, I am adept working projects of all sizes and scope.

I am a Registered Interior Designer, a designation given to professionals who are members of the Association of Registered Interior Designers of Ontario (ARIDO) and who have passed professional examinations offered by the National Council for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ).

I have passed Ontario Building Code examinations, and have a BCIN (Building Code Information Number) for house, small building and large building, which allows me to submit any work I do for building permit in the province of Ontario.

Design is about people.
